Artist Statement
This composition captures the tension between strength and vulnerability, showcasing a central conflict surrounded by a protective barrier. The palette, inspired by the emotional spectrum of 'gratitude' to 'envy', employs rich greens and soft yellows to juxtapose stability against exposure. The outer edges, adorned with deeper olive tones, suggest strength and protection, forming a frame for the more fragile, shattering patterns of the inner area which represents vulnerability. The collision occurs in the center, where softer, lighter colors disrupt the dark and stable borders, illustrating the dynamic struggle of the themes. Broken pixels create intentional disruptions, enhancing the story of imperfection and connection within the chaos.
