Artist Statement
The artwork embodies the emotional collision between nostalgia and progress through its warm palette of burnt orange and dark red against the cooler tones of charcoal and gold. The left side flows in a structured pattern reminiscent of mirroring, suggesting nostalgia, while the right side breaks apart with sparks signifying progress. The transitions between clusters of dense color and spacious negative area create a rhythmic contrast, reflecting pressure and release. This composition showcases both order and chaos, evoking feelings of past warmth against a backdrop of future aspirations.
