Artist Statement
This piece captures the tension between longing and resolve through alternating densities and colors. The selected palette, 'melancholy_wonder', features soft tones that evoke a sense of tranquility disrupted by vibrant hints of resolve. The central area is intentionally dense, representing a strong sense of intention, while the borders introduce quiet fields of color that struggle to contain the overflowing emotions. Broken pixels disrupt the flow and enhance the contrast between the saturated center and the softer edges, embodying the feeling of fragmented thoughts. This arrangement mirrors the push and pull between desires unfulfilled and the drive towards clarity, creating a visual echo of the emotional seed.
