Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional duality of fear and hope through a palette that blends darkness with light. The deep blacks and dark violets represent the weight of fear, while the soft gold and pale green offer a glimmer of hope. The arrangement reflects a split vertical layout, with darker pixels clustering on one side to create a sense of confinement, interrupted by bursts of lighter colors, suggesting potential and upward movement. This tension between light and dark creates a visual rhythm where the flow spirals from dense clusters on the edges towards a lighter central area, evoking an emotional push and pull akin to introspection.
