Artist Statement
The emotional tone emerges from the interplay of trust (soft, supportive tones) and suspicion (dark, fragmented elements). Using a palette of pink, red, gray, and dark maroon creates a foundation of emotional conflict, where the warm hues indicate trust while the darker shades introduce suspicion. The main contrast manifests at the central collision where softer lines of the 'ripple' pattern clash with the jagged edges of the 'thread' pattern. This embodies the delicate balance of strength and fragility, as suggested by the seed's themes of pressure and vulnerability.
