Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional duality of nostalgia and progress through a carefully curated palette and arrangement. The black and white colors suggest a timeless contrast between the past (nostalgia) and a striking pale blue indicating the vibrancy of progress. The grid-like placement with a bottom-weighted design introduces an element of tension, while the broken pixels symbolize imperfections and reflections of memories.
