Artist Statement
The artwork explores the emotional dynamics of safety and exposure through contrasting palettes and pixel arrangements. The chosen colors of 'shelter_green' and 'warm_brown' serve to create a sense of protective warmth, while 'pale_skin' and 'cold_white' introduce a vulnerability that disrupts the safety. The dominant green and brown hues occupy the left half, symbolizing safety, while the lighter colors on the right create an echo of exposure. The layout is primarily empty space with a gradient shift that represents the pressure and release dynamic, with broken pixels in key areas to suggest moments of interruption.
