Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional duel between control and surrender, expressed through a palette of resilience and fragility. The center is highlighted by a saturated moss green, encapsulated by bone white and rust, which represents the struggle of containment. The edges are more subdued, lending a sense of surrender with a soft transition into stone gray. The use of broken pixels introduces an intentional disruption, reflecting the tension and imperfections in this emotional landscape. The dominant color in the center creates a pulse of pressure, while the lighter edges lead to a silent release.
