Artist Statement
The emotional tone encapsulates a struggle between calmness and rage through color and structure. The palette of deep black, soft pale blue, and stark white conveys intensity and serenity, creating a visceral contrast. The outer edges embody rage with jagged, sharp placements, while the inner core, patterned in a tranquil flame-like manner, offers a structured release. The collision happens at the divide where the dense, dark colors meet the lighter tones, suggesting a chaotic yet controlled energy. The structure invites a spiral flow, reminiscent of how emotions can intertwine and affect one another, echoing the seed's themes of pressure and quiet nuances.
