Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between emptiness and desire, represented through a divided composition. The left side uses deep navy and black to convey quiet and emptiness, employing a stair-like pattern to suggest gradual loss or step-down feelings. In contrast, the right employs vibrant accents of dim cyan and white, reflecting bursts of desire and dynamic rhythm. This collision creates a visual imbalance, generating a sense of unresolved tension, mirroring the emotional contrasts inherent in the seed. Broken pixels introduce imperfection, enhancing the authenticity of the emotions, while negative space is preserved to allow reflections of quiet amidst the chaos.
