Artist Statement
The emotional tone represents a juxtaposition of longing and resolve—expressed through the palette and arrangement of colors. The selected palette of shelter green, warm brown, pale skin, cold white, and open blue evokes a sense of safety contrasted with exposure. The outer 4x4 grid captures the longing, while the inner section signifies resolve; this layout creates a visual frame that emphasizes each feeling's tension and depth. The broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions that signify damages and repairs, aligning with the theme of the seed.
