Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional duality of trust and suspicion through the use of contrasting warm and cool tones. The palette features muted burnt orange and dark red to represent pressure and suspicion on the outer edges, while the cool charcoal and gold in the center offer a sense of calm and trust. The arrangement creates a visual interplay: the inner 4x4 core emanates quietness while the outer frame disrupts this with jagged patterns, symbolizing the struggles of colliding emotions. The diagonal rise flow amplifies this tension, punctuating the piece with broken pixels to evoke imperfection and realism.
