Artist Statement
The emotional tone swings between panic and control, reflecting a conflict where the center is both a refuge and a target. The palette of warm yellows and oranges juxtaposed with deep blues and muted purples evokes a tumultuous atmosphere. The contrast occurs at the edges where warm colors spiral outward against cooler centers, suggesting the chaos at the periphery battling with the calmer core. Broken pixels are placed strategically to express the imperfect resolution inherent in this emotional struggle.
