Artist Statement
This work explores the emotional nuances between safety and exposure, where the palette of warm browns and shelter greens envelops a pale center representing vulnerability. The dominant textures of 'stack' for exposure and 'crack' for safety collide in the layout, creating a visual narrative of tension and release. A balance of dense clusters and quiet spaces reflects the emotional core, with intentional broken pixels adding a layer of imperfection and depth. The central collision occurs in the middle rows, evoking a sense of resilience amidst vulnerability.
