Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between trust and suspicion. Darker colors on the left represent suspicion with an uneven reflection that breaks the stability of trust displayed through softer hues on the right. The sharp contrast is created by the diagonal arrangement, guiding the eye from dark to light, echoing the journey from doubt towards confidence. The palette features warm corals and cool blues to enhance the emotional gravity and maintain viewer engagement while leaving space for contemplation. Broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions, inviting a sense of fragility amidst resilience. The overall design is an exploration of the push and pull between these two emotions, creating an abstract narrative that speaks to the complexity of human trust.
