Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the dichotomy of safety and exposure, creating an abstract representation of vulnerability encircled by protective warmth. The selected palette, featuring shelter green and warm brown, suggests security while pale skin and cold white evoke exposure. The central collision occurs between soft barrier colors and bright accents, intertwining the two emotions, revealing moments of echo and release. The pattern is formed with hinge and threshold styles which visually intertwine yet maintain a distinct boundary, reinforcing the split between pressure and release.
