Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the duality of tenderness and rage, expressed through a palette combining deep red and calming pale blue. The contrast culminates centrally, where jagged red islands of rage interrupt softer black and blue patchwork, symbolizing the struggle between these two feelings. This pattern evokes the imagery of rain falling, reflective of pain yet softened by healing touches. The sense of quiet tension is maintained through the placement of negative space and the intentional use of broken pixels, representing scars of emotion.
