Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a dynamic conflict between desire's warm, vibrant pull and restraint's cool, muted boundaries. The palette combines hot coral and blood orange to evoke desire, contrasted with charcoal and hollow blue symbolizing restraint. The main collision happens in the center, where warm colors spiral outward while cool veils encroach from the edges, creating a sense of pressure amidst a fluid arrangement, resembling the interplay of intense emotions. The structured rings and layers of color echo the themes of tension and release, visually representing the swirling conflict of fragility and strength.
