Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between rage and calm, with the top half representing the chaotic burst of emotion through sharp reds and dark contrasts, while the bottom half embodies tranquil blues and whites, creating a visual rhythm of pressure and release. The chosen palette reflects these emotional states: vibrant reds signify rage, while the soft blues symbolize calmness. The layout is a split horizontal, with strong conflict and interruption as the hot colors cut through the calm. The broken pixels act as imperfections that hint at the underlying tension.
