Artist Statement
The emotional tone oscillates between the feelings of envy and gratitude, influenced by the pressure of rising upwards against the fear of falling downwards. The palette incorporates deep navy and black to evoke feelings of void and heaviness, contrasted by soft dim cyan that symbolizes light and hope, revealing hidden layers within the void. The main collision occurs where the dark colors clash against the brighter ones, hinting at moments of tension and release. The abstract pattern emerges as a representation of struggle, where some pixels, symbolizing hope, attempt to rise, while others drown in a dense gloom, reflecting the narrative of struggle and resilience.
