Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between longing and resolve, using a palette of vibrant contrasts to reflect the dynamic interplay of these feelings. The top half features static patterns in deep black and muted electric blue, symbolizing a sense of yearning and incompleteness, while the bottom half uses pulse marks in sharp magenta and vibrant lime, showcasing the strength and clarity of resolve. The central collision occurs where the two halves meet, marked by a disruption of broken pixels that symbolize the scars left by conflict and the unfulfilled journey. The negative space throughout enhances the sense of both containment and overflow, mirroring the complexity of emotional states evoked by the seed.
