Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional tension between certainty and curiosity. The palette of deep black, contrasting pale blue, and sharp red reflects the complexity of these emotions—black for certainty's firm boundary, pale blue for the calm yet probing nature of curiosity, and red as an accent indicating urgent feelings of tension within the chaos. The layout features two contrasting pulsating centers of color at opposite corners, with lighter and darker areas indicating a push-pull dynamic. Broken pixels disrupt the flow, representing moments of uncertainty and chaos, while maintaining an overall structure that evokes the feeling of an unresolved narrative.
