Artist Statement
This composition embodies the struggle between rage and calm, using a palette of deep reds, black, pale blue, and white to evoke emotional depth. The contrasting colors create collisions in the upper-left versus lower-right corners, where dense warm hues clash with soft cool colors, echoing the underlying turmoil. The selected patterns, a maze of calmness against jagged rings of rage, reflect the rising and falling motion encapsulated in the seed, manifested through spatial pressure and interruptive placements.
