Artist Statement
This artwork captures the tension between longing and resolve, manifesting through a palette that balances warm coral and soft amber against cool slate and blue black. The pattern of longing is represented as barcodes of warmth that dance across the grid, interrupted by broken frames which denote resolve. The main contrast occurs at the center, where the warm and cool colors collide, creating an emotional heartbeat amidst quiet spaces.
