Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional contrast between heavy pressure and soft quiet, reflecting a struggle between crowded density and open spaces. The color palette, which incorporates muted tones of off-white and faint peach with accents of dark navy and compressed red, creates a visual tension that mirrors the themes present in the seed. The main collision of color occurs diagonally from the top left to bottom right, where the heavier colors meet the lighter ones, embodying the dialogue of pressure versus release. The layout is intentionally asymmetrical, with a dense cluster of darker hues framing a quiet center, allowing the viewer to feel the weight of the edges while gently drawing them towards the softness at the core. The strategic placement of broken pixels introduces an element of imperfection, echoing life's inherent disruptions in clarity and confusion.
