Artist Statement
This artwork juxtaposes the intensity of rage against the serenity of calm. The red and dark tones on the left represent compressed emotions full of friction and urgency, while the pale blue and white tones on the right embody a quiet, expansive calmness. The grid features broken pixels to evoke a sense of imperfection and humanity, while the negative space ensures breathing room. A patchwork pattern of jagged red interrupts the smoothness of the calm field, highlighting the collision between the emotions, thus translating the seed's core themes into an abstract narrative.
