Artist Statement
This composition represents the emotional dichotomy of vulnerability and strength through a dense pattern and a quiet channel of negative space. The palette features deep, contrasting shades that embody the weight of strength (void_black, deep_teal) against lighter, unshielded hues (star_white, cold_gold) which hint at vulnerability. The collision occurs centrally with a textured, dense area (strength) abruptly interrupted by a delicate channel (vulnerability), creating a visual push and pull that aligns with the ambiguous themes of shelter and exposure in the seed. The chosen pattern types emphasize robust interactions with softer edges to depict the complexities of connection and alienation.
