Artist Statement
This abstract piece embodies the emotional dialogue between pressure and quiet. The palette consists of muted off-white and dust-gray to evoke softness, contrasted by the deeper tones of compressed red and dark navy that represent weight and density. The main collision occurs diagonally, where the ring pattern of pressure from the edges fights against the static spread of quiet in the center, merging but never fully aligning. This creates a visual tension, reflecting the dynamic interplay of emotions suggested by the seed. The arrangement also maintains negative space to hint at the clarity and confusion contrasting amongst the dense color clusters.
