Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional interplay between tenderness and rage through its contrasting color palettes. The outer border is defined by deep blacks and reds that suggest intensity and pressure, encapsulating the tumultuous feelings of rage. The inner area employs softer pale blues and whites, embodying tenderness and gentleness, creating an inner calm against the outside friction. The main collision occurs where the soft inner patterns overlap with sharp outer edges, symbolizing the struggle between these emotions. The chosen palette emphasizes the saturation of anger against the muted tone of calmness. The abstract layout, with a clear division between outer and inner spaces, enhances the feeling of confinement and release, echoing the seed concept of internal and external battles.
