Artist Statement
The emotional tone balances vulnerability with strength, where the lower half represents strength through solid, dense colors, while the upper half embodies vulnerability with softer, broken pixels. The palette of powder pink and steel gray creates warmth contrasted by the coldness of carbon black, suggesting the complexity of emotional interplay. The main collision occurs between the soft embers above and the broken dots below, positioning strength at the edges and vulnerability at the center. This arrangement visually narrates the struggle of finding safety in exposure, as the colors merge yet fiercely retain their boundaries.
