Artist Statement
The emotional tone emerges from the interplay of vulnerability (softness) and strength (intensity). The palette combines deep charcoal and vibrant crimson to evoke a sense of tension, while warm whites soften the overall intensity. Central pixels contrast heavily with the outer edges, representing the fragile core of strength enclosed by a storm of darker, heavier colors. The layout mimics falling pixels, embodying a constant descent, suggesting exposure and weight as forces battle for control. Broken pixels are introduced to symbolize imperfections amidst the struggle, enhancing the emotional depth and layering throughout the artwork.
