Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional duality of tenderness and rage. The selected palette of deep reds and muted blues creates a stark contrast, embodying the hot center of rage surrounded by the soft edges of tenderness. The layering results in a visual tension where the central bright colors collide with surrounding darker bands, akin to a heart fragment battling to break free from the weight of guilt. Main collisions occur in the center, with pixelated interruptions that reflect nostalgia and emotional scars.
