Artist Statement
The emotional tone navigates between envy and gratitude, using warm hues to contrast cool shades, representing the push and pull of contrasting feelings. The palette of yellow and orange against deep blue and muted purple embodies the tension of emotion with light vs. dark contrasts. Main collisions occur in the center, where colors intermingle, enforcing a sense of unresolved motion and layered density. Inspired by the seed elements, this abstract pattern features fluctuating density and clusters of color responding to the themes of pressure and release.
