Artist Statement
This piece embodies the tension between rage and calm through a dynamic arrangement of colors. The palette blends deep reds and blacks to represent fiery emotion against cooler pale blues and whites for serenity. The main collision occurs in the center where jagged, aggressive patterns of red cut across horizontal bands of calming blue, creating an interplay of conflict and tranquility. The broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions, echoing the imperfect nature of emotions in conflict and creating a visual dialogue that aligns with the seed's themes of containment versus overflow.
