Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes 'panic' and 'control', reflecting a split between chaos and order. The palette, inspired by love and betrayal, uses deep reds and grays to evoke tension, with warm tones suggesting heated emotions and cooler grays embodying restraint. The contrast plays on intersections where structured rings (representing control) clash with jagged stripes (symbolizing panic), primarily taking shape in the top half of the grid. This creates a visual narrative of a battle between structured clarity and fragmented chaos, while the lower half deepens the sense of unrest with broken pixels to emphasize imperfection and discord.
