Artist Statement
This composition embodies the interplay of vulnerability and strength. The palette features deep blacks and stark whites to depict strength's density contrasted with soft pale blues representing vulnerability. The central collision arises from a tension-filled diagonal flow, where dark blocks appear to invade lighter sections, reflecting the theme of a strong force impacting the delicate. Broken pixels are strategically placed to suggest fragility amidst the structure, enhancing the emotional weight of exposure versus protection, while the negative space allows the viewer to reflect on the theme of balance and conflict.
