Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tension between desire and emptiness through a carefully chosen palette of warm pinks and cool grays, representing warmth in longing and coldness in absence. The contrast occurs mainly in the center where bright hues clash with darker shades, suggesting an unresolved struggle. Using radial patterns for desire and broken dots for emptiness creates a rhythmic flow from left to right, allowing for both dense clusters and quiet negative space to coexist.
