Artist Statement
The emotional tone combines elements of joy (bright yellows and oranges) and grief (deep blues and muted purples). The palette intentionally contrasts warm and cool colors to symbolize the clash of emotions. The placement forms a zigzag flow, where brighter colors collide with darker hues in an asymmetrical dance, representing the rhythm of emotional highs and lows. Slightly broken pixels introduce an element of imperfection and highlight the fragility of these feelings. Negative space allows for breath between the clusters, symbolizing quiet amidst chaos.
