Artist Statement
This artwork conveys a struggle between nostalgia and progress through contrasting color patterns. The sepia and faded blue palette reflects a sense of memory and movement towards the future, creating a dynamic yet contemplative atmosphere. The upper half features cool tones moving upward, symbolizing growth and forward momentum, while the lower half employs darker, muted tones that suggest the weight of the past.
