Artist Statement
This abstract composition embodies the emotional contrast between longing and resolve through distinct spatial and color dynamics. The palette of warm coral and soft amber provides an energetic warmth, signifying longing, while the colder shades of blue-black and cold slate represent resolve and structure. The edge style reflects a pixel bleed, creating a sense of fragmentation & imperfection, reminiscent of a broken mirror. The following layout creates movement from the lower left corner, gradually intensifying through layered patterns. The center showcases a collision of motion and stillness, echoing the tension between desire and determination, leaving clusters of negative space that invite reflection.
