Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between fear and hope. The color palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green emphasizes this duality: dark for fear contrasting with the warmth of hope. The predominant use of black creates a heavy atmosphere, while the sporadic soft gold and pale green offer moments of light and optimism. The central pixels are intentionally broken to enhance the 'mirror_broken' layout, symbolizing a fractured sense of clarity amidst encroaching darkness. This arrangement promotes a contrast and rhythm, reflecting the oscillation between despair and aspiration.
