Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between fear and hope. The palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green establishes a contrast where darker tones symbolize fear, framing the softer colors of hope. The left side is dense with jagged crosses that highlight fear, while the right showcases rising, broken dots suggesting hope. Central and edge collisions of colors play into both emotions—intensity versus calm—which echo the seed's conflicts. The edges bleed into each other, creating an unsettling yet hopeful journey.
