Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional pull between restlessness and peace, utilizing a palette of electric blues and greens against stark black and gray to indicate turmoil and tranquility. The dominant presence of static gray creates a calm foundation, while vibrant accents of signal green and hot magenta interrupt in bursts, portraying moments of disruption. The mirror-broken layout establishes a semblance of symmetry, but intentional 'broken pixels' on opposite corners suggest the fracturing of peace within the familiarity. The collision predominantly occurs in the center where warm and cool tones intersect, symbolizing the heart of contention and resolution within the chaos, informing a rhythmic visual narrative that reflects tension against calmness.
