Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional interplay between desire (warm hues) and emptiness (cool hues). The palette of navy, black, and dim cyan amplifies the contrast, expressing a clash between dense emotion and quiet voids. The split vertical layout reinforces this duality, with vibrant colors on one side bleeding into more muted tones, creating a sense of transition or unresolved motion. The placement of broken pixels adds imperfection, hinting at vulnerability and the collision of feelings.
