Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the longing represented by warm colors against the cool, engulfing voids. The chosen palette of dark navy and black signifies emptiness, while hints of dim cyan act as interruptions or signals of desire. The central contrast emerges from a dense cluster of dark pixels on the left, which battles against a scattering of light, reflective hues on the right. The pattern of warm vs. cool evolves from a 'stair' structure on the left to a 'split screen' effect on the right, echoing the rise and fall of emotional impulses.
