Artist Statement
The emotional tone strikes a balance between safety and exposure, creating a dialogue through soft barriers and jagged edges. The chosen palette of shelter green, warm brown, pale skin, cold white, and open blue represents the contrast between warmth and coolness—safety versus exposure. The collision occurs primarily in the center where the 'teeth' of safety embrace the 'crack' of exposure. The broken pixels disrupt the symmetry, adding depth and suggesting vulnerability amidst stability.
