Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a tug-of-war between feelings of panic and control, illustrated by contrasting colors and their placements. The selected palette of pink, red, gray, and dark maroon juxtaposes warm and cool tones, generating tension. The outer frame (control) employs stable, muted colors whereas the inner core (panic) bursts with vibrant and fragmented patterns. This evokes a sense of instability and collision, as if stability is perpetually disrupted by inner chaos, reinforcing the emotional conflict suggested by the seed.
