Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between loneliness and connection through a palette of dark violet, black, soft gold, and pale green. The dark tones symbolize the weight of loneliness while the gold represents a fragile connection, suggested by an asymmetrical arrangement with a hint of bursting energy in the center. The contrasts are manifested with hard edges creating a stark difference between dense clusters of dark pixels that exude isolation, juxtaposed against lighter tones that symbolize potential connection, revealing layers of hidden emotion against an open void.
