Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the push and pull between longing and resolve, created through a palette that contrasts warm coral and soft amber against deep slate and black. The main collision occurs in the center, where patchwork motifs of resolve collide with the stepwell patterns of longing, creating a visual narrative of tension. The use of broken pixels represents the imperfections within this emotional landscape, while the diagonal rise pattern evokes hope and elevation amidst struggle.
