Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between control and surrender. Utilizing a palette of muted hues like 'dust_gray' and 'faint_peach' juxtaposed with stronger 'compressed_red' and 'dark_navy', it creates a visual push and pull. The overfilled center, represented through dense clusters of deeper tones, faces jagged boundaries of lighter shades that struggle to contain it. This center holds the primary collision, representing overwhelming feelings vying for release versus the rigidity of borders trying to maintain order. Broken pixels sporadically disrupt the flow, adding to the chaotic yet structured emotional landscape.
